Breaking News: Andrew Hoag, CEO and Founder, Urbantag is joining our Social Media Business Success Panel.

Andrew Hoag,  CEO and Founder,  Urbantag

Andrew is an entrepreneurial technical product leader who enjoys building products, companies & teams from scratch, but also have led product lines with $60MM+ in revenue and still can write a line of code once in a while. Most recently, he launched urbantag to tackle the trillion-dollar online-to-offline commerce market. Urbantag was born out of several iterations at Black Drumm, where they won an fbFund award and launched several products enabling marketers to reach more customers through social media and word-of-mouth channels. Urbantag was successfully acquired by Tagged in 2012.

Immediately prior to this, Andrew was founding CTO and COO at two start-ups, and has been an angel investor and advisor to several others. Before that, he held management roles in consulting, product management, business development and marketing at VeriSign.

Andrew is always interested in meeting technologists and entrepreneurs that are interested in the local, mobile, social network and semantic web spaces to share ideas on how to create great products and profitable businesses.
